Kindergarten Plus Parent Information
*Homework - Every student will receive a reading folder after the end of the first quarter. This folder includes a variety of materials and ideas to practice letters, letter sounds, blending words, numbers, shapes and much more. Practice with these materials at home is extremely important to helping your child become a confident and fluent reader. This folder should be used for daily practice at home.
*Absence Excuses - Whenever absent from school, a note must be given to the teacher upon your child's return stating the reason for the absence. Please provide a note if your child must leave early or arrives late as well.
*If your child rides the bus regularly, and a change occurs that they will be a walker for the day, please notify me in writing on that day so that your child will be ready accordingly.
*When sending money to school for special events such as book fair etc., please put it in an envelope or some type of wallet with their name on.
*Please do not send party invitations to school unless everyone is invited. In addition, it is against school policy for the teacher to hand out lists containing names, addresses and phone numbers of students.
*Donating a box of tissues or hand sanitizer to share with the class is always welcome and much appreciated.
