Meet Mrs. Blaser

My name is Mrs. Courtney Blaser and I am a 2nd grade teacher at West Penn Elementary. I was born and raised in West Penn and I am thrilled to be teaching in the school that I attended as a child. I am a 2006 graduate of Tamaqua School District and a 2010 graduate of Kutztown University. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (K-6) and a Concentration in Mathematics. From 2011-2014, I taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades in Central Columbia School District. For the next nine years, I stayed home to raise my children, Brinley and Chet. In 2022, I decided it was time to get back into the classroom and pursue my passion for teaching. This will be my fourth year teaching 2nd grade at West Penn. I absolutely love this school and the community. I look forward to teaching your child this year!
